Framed antique Swedish herbarium specimen featuring pressed botanicals with a handwritten label providing botanical details in Latin, as well as the specimen's location and date in Swedish. Wear consistent with age

The mixed media frame features a decoupaged braided pattern inspired by an historic wall canvas at the Fiholm estate in Södermanland. The Gustavian design is complemented by hand-painted accents, while the sides are painted in Farrow and Ball's Pale Powder.
